Sit down, grab a cup of tea and prepare for some serious interior envy.
I was lucky enough to visit the glorious Osea Island for our annual work summer party and boy to it live up to expectations. Hidden away from the world off the coast or Morden, Essex, I’ve never been to somewhere quite like it. Only accessed by a narrow causeway locked off when the tide goes
out and home to just a few residents, it really is a world away from the busy office life of London.
Stunning sea views, beautiful white cottages and windy leaf paths, I didn’t want to go home. Forget the fact there was very little phone signal, you could hear a pin drop for the first time in a very long time.
Staying in the picturesque Captain’s House which resembled one of my very own ‘House Goals’ style Pinterest boards, I secretly hoped I’d get a go at cooking in the lovely kitchens, complete with matching floral tea and plate sets, with a seaside theme.
After finding our rooms, the trip brought a day of adventures followed by a festival themed party, where we drank too much fizz and feasted on a sizzling hog roast.
Here’s a little photo diary of the beautiful Osea itself:
